Richard Stadelman Receives Farm Bureau Distinguished Service to Agriculture Award

Richard Stadelman, a longtime advocate of wise land use and farmland preservation, was presented the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation’s “Distinguished Service to Agriculture” award during the organization’s 95th Annual Meeting in Wisconsin Dells on December 7.

The Distinguished Service to Agriculture is awarded for outstanding contributions to Wisconsin’s agricultural industry. Stadelman retired as the Wisconsin Towns Association’s Executive Director in August.

“A true friend of agriculture, throughout his career Rick’s leadership played a big part in creating state standards for siting livestock farms and the farmland preservation program,” said Farm Bureau President Jim Holte.
